When is the right time for a child's first orthodontic check?

Both American and European orthodontic associations recommend a first check around the age of 7. It doesn't mean treatment starts then — but identifying jaw-growth issues early opens the door to simpler solutions later.

Is aligner treatment painful?

Aligners move teeth gradually, so there's no sharp pain. For a day or two after switching to a new aligner you may feel a mild pressure — that means they're working. Most patients adjust within a few days.

How long does treatment with fixed braces take?

On average, 12 to 24 months, depending on the complexity of the case. Simpler corrections finish in 6 to 9 months; more complex ones can take longer. We give a precise estimate after the consultation.

How much do fixed braces cost?

The price depends on the type of brackets — classic metal, aesthetic ceramic or self-ligating. At your first consultation you'll receive a clear price list for your specific case, with the option of interest-free instalments.

Can adults wear fixed braces too?

Absolutely. Orthodontic treatment has no age limit — teeth can be moved throughout life. For adults who want discretion, we also offer clear aligners and lingual braces.

What is retention and why is it needed?

After braces come off, teeth have a tendency to return to their old position. That's why we fit fixed retainers (a thin wire on the inside) and clear night-time aligners. Retention is permanent — and included in the treatment price, not an add-on.
